Maybe you didn’t know.. or maybe you know this quite long ago.. tru the post i wrote here…. actually i plan to buy a PSP (PINK OF COURSE) earlier… but now… there’s another option for me to go for… which is the Nintendo DS Lite… according to most of the friends i know.. they said Nintendo DS Lite will be more suitable for me.. cause they have more girl type games.. err..
i was thinking… sure arr? but i think i will still prefer the PSP wor… hmmm… really hard to make a decision…
another reason why i still can’t make any decision is.. because… PSP is more expensive.. where by Nintendo DS Lite is much cheaper… and… i still don’t have enough money to buy both yet.. hahaha… still waiting for the cheque from Nuffnang and Advertlets… hmm hmm.. both will be contribute this my Portable Entertainment Fund.. anyone want help me with this fund? all you need to do is just… click on the ads on my website.. that will definitely help me.. hehehe on the FUND.. kekeke…

I used to plan to get a PSP earlier. And i’ve been doing some studying on NDSL as well as they are the 2 top handheld out there.
And I agree with ur friend. NDSL is more suitable for girls because there are plenty of cute, creative, colorful games for NDSL. In addition of a stylus, playing NDSL is like playing those cute cute PopCap games at yahoo. Only that, NDSL is much much better than that. My wife who never played any games before just picked it up and addicted on Animal Crossing.
As for PSP, if u prefer more hardcore games with 3D and sophisticated games. Go for PSP. It’s like a slight downgrade version of PS2 in terms of graphic, audio etc.
Well, i go for NDSL in the end. Becoz i read that smaller, better version of PSP is coming. Althought SONY denied that, well, no harm in waiting for that.
Switching over from Nintendo DS to Nintendo DS Lite last year, I’d like to tell you that I heart the Nintendo DS lite system. I am not much of a gamer myself but I feel that it is perfect for playing during short trips in the taxi or the plane. There’s heaps of games for the NDS as well.

Get both if you can. Both has its merits. But if you have to get one, get a DS Lite, especially if you already have a PS2 (in which case you wouldn’t really need a PSP anyway), though be warned that the DSL isn’t a perfect system. It does have a weak hinge.
A Wii is also recommended but right now the games are very lacking. Many are merely PS2 ports with waggle tacked-on.

PSP games although most of them are ports from other console at least it is now playable, portable
there are many RPG games for PSP and in english too, built in wi-fi, no need to go buy separate network card like DS
DS games are too oldskool, not really my type. the only games i bought were super mario bro and animal crossing
for PSP u can do so much stuff, if u like homebrew and all that, watching ur sitcoms,movies,or short clips on PSP is also great since the screen is really clear juz dont watch under bright sunlight la, obviously will glare.
When u say PSP games are more ganas, I kinda agree. Well at least they’re trying to use the PSP’s potential, since the hardware insided is also powerful. I find alot of games available for me on PSP rather than DS.

Agreed with Hisyam, u get to watch movie on PSP which is cool, but with the poor battery life is bad.
Should u plan to get a NDSL, i suggest u to buy a R4 and a microSD for homebrew and … for downloaded NDS games/ROM. Well, there are some hice homebrew games and apps out there … and R4 handles them nicely.

ndsl is the best. got psp before. swop to ndsl and only regret so far.. nvr sell my psp earlier. ahhaaaa
my ndsl allows me to watch videos, sitcoms listens to mp3 as well.

Go for the lite. I personally think that the lite is a lot better than the psp. Let’s have a look at the so called rpgs for the psp. Ok, Tales of the world : RM and the other tales series(destiny) are very good rpgs, so does final fantasy crisis core(which is still in jap rite?). Rune factory, pokemon, ff3 & 12 are still better rpgs compare to what the psp have.
Now let’s look at the games for girls.
psp: LOCO ROCO!!( i love this game), Katamari, what else? DJ max?
DS: Nintendogs, brainage, Animal crossing, tetris(utada hikaru is good at this), cooking mama, etc…..

I’ve played both systems… and I’m planning on getting a PSP. If you want pink, there’s actually two kinds. There’s the one you put up and a rose pink. I prefer the rose =P.
If you’ve grown up with Playstation, I suggest you get PSP. In my opinion… I think that DS games are exactly like flash games… why not just play flash games on your computer then?
PSP has interesting well-developed games, jam-packed with high-quality graphics.
DS IS fun. It’s just a little immature. And with the commercials that they’re putting out that Wii is better than PS3 or that DS is better than PSP is just way out of line. Joining pathetic advertising of Pepsi against Coca Cola and MACs against PCs.
Summary:
Low expectation casual gamer = DS
High expectation hardcore gamer = PSP
Also, PSP has FF crisis core =P DS tried stealing a FF game… sequel to FF12… go check it out… it’s… the graphics make me cry. =) Ok I’m done xD
I suggest PSP is better compared to NDSL. It have better screen resolution, more functions and other utilities. While NDSL have many “girlish” games, which is surely suitable to girls. But it depends to your usage. I choose rather a psp than NDSL.
Well… its really fair if u chose psp because of the graphic… i am gonna say that for movie lover… but hey, games is not all about graphic. Even many PS2 games which is super graphic intense are really boring compare to some PS1 game… Who say pokemon start in 3D? even 2D there are a lot of pokemon fans out there still playing with this 2D game and there are Hardcore gamers also.. I have both of this console, and i prefer NDS because of the game. I like Crisis Core and some of PSP game but it is just that. I have more in NDS.
