Difference between DS Lite & Slim PSP

having problem selecting between PSP and DS Lite? no idea which type to choose? what are you considering? why can’t you make a choice? hmm… actually all this questions are really normal… cause i face the same problem before this as well… i even list it out in a table format… to compare this two game console… end up.. i bought DS Lite.. and now i got the PSP as well.. hmm..

comparison below is base on my personal experience…

 

Sony PSP 2000 (Slim)

 Nintendo DS Lite
Screens 1 big screen (4.3 inches (16:9) full-transparent type, TFT drive) but
will get finger prints easily		 2 screen, one of it is touch screen base
Weight Lighter than DS (189g / 6.7 oz (including battery pack))  
Online Yes, there’s no extra software needed, but there’s no touch
screen, which is quite hard to surf…		 Yes, but Browser
software is needed. Price for the browser is approx. RM 150

there’s friend who have the same game console… but… come to think of
it… after i bought it for so long.. i only use it once…so is like a
bit wasted…)
Battery Life: if you keep play… at most it can hold 2 days MAX i’m quite surprise with the battery life… cause it can
hold till quite long… which is good for the gamer
Game Type: more happening game, more on graphics more interactive game, such as nintendogs, cooking mama
Cons: 1. will get finger print easily 2. battery die real fast…
haih… and is hard for gamer to check out the battery status while playing
game -_-”		 1. sound not loud enough 2. can’t play video… actually
with R4 card it should be able to view, but is hard to find the converter
3. can’t online without the Browser software card 4. is hard to play game
wireless with friend
Memory Card: Sony Memory Stick… 4GB memory can fit around 10 games max…
it depends on the game capacity		 Micro Sd… 2GB memory can fit around 20 games max… and
it
depends on the game capacity as well. Comparing with PSP, DS game file size
is much smaller

                arr.. really? i didn’t notice that… there’s one time i play Luxor till suddenly the PSP turn off by itself… cause the battery is DEAD… hahaha… didn’t even notice that the lights blink… maybe my hand block it d…
