Phew… as you know from my previous post… ya i’m going Krabi at 4th May 2008 till 7th May 2008… most of the people told me to go Aonang… including one of the friend that just went there for Honeymoon end of last year… and she recommend me to stay at Aonang.. which is called as Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort and cost us RM 162 per night inclusive of breakfast for a standard room
as what she said… Krabi is just a port for us to transfer from one place to another… where by Aonang have it’s own beach which is much nicer than Krabi.. there’s market around Aonang area… hmmm… which is quite nice…
As what i research recently… there’s another Hotel which can be book tru AirAsia… Called as Maritime Park & Spa Resort which is just RM165 per night (inclusive of breakfast too).. as what i see from the map they have in their hotel website… this Hotel is located at Krabi itself… and is 20km away from Aonang… but from the map.. i can see there’s a night market around.. and is much nearer to the beach, and nearer to phiphi island…
Actually i did book the Best Western Ban Ao Nang Resort… but.. we haven’t pay yet.. i wonder should we change it… -_- how? can help make decisions?

I stay in Krabi La Playa Resort before book thru AirAsia holiday package on last year oct. I was there for 5 days
Due to that time they having problem on their system.. on the day i arrived, they have no rooms for me … so they transfer me to Vogue Resort & Spa Ao Nang for 2 nights after that fetch me back to La Playa for another 2 nights. Because of this I got a free dinner at their hotel and also they upgrade my room from Superior to Pool side deluxe room, which is wonderful… cause can direct jump in to the pool from your room…
Overall i was sactisfy with their service even the mixed up my booking..

ya.. egypt tour coming soon… err.. should consider that as honeymoon gua.. not sure.. but this is actually Brandon’s Company Trip… we pay extra for 1 pax only.. cause Brandon’s is FREE.. it cost me around 5k++ for everything.. (not include shopping yet lar)

war.. i just check the price on AirAsia for the Hotel you told me… is way out of our budget d… phew.. RM400++ per night.. OMG.. but… really as you said.. can straight jump out to the pool from your room.. that’s sooo cool
I would say any one coz it doesnt matter only 3 ringgit different (if u book one of the hotel thru airasia right).
and the facilites. The first hotel like nice oso! damn it hard to decide!

WAH!! So what the manager told me is true… they already bring up the price for the hotel… due to more and more people going there.. lucky me .. got a nice price for the hotel plus airasia ticket.. cause total package cost is RM1700+ for 2 person …. 5 day 4 night stay..
im goin to stay in maritime, n cost me bout 1k for 3 nights . suppose to book at pakasai, coz its more nice than maritime. well, will let u kno after i come bac from krabi la. n fyi, on the day i arrive to krabi, is the 1st day of songkran festival, sei lor, sked me n my frens got all wet when on the way to hotel…
I plan to go krabi for honeymoon during sep’08…plan to book thru Air Asia. Forum state that krabi la playa not very good while pakasai is very nice…not sure the one that u choose best western is near to the beach. Maritime is i am not wrong is quite far away from the Aonang beach.
Hear that Sep 08 is not suit to go Krabi Island due to the monsoon, is it correct? Anybody go Krabi during september?

oh.. monsoon? i didn’t heard about that.. cause i did ask the Travel Agent… she didn’t said that September have monsoon wor… hmm… now Air Asia have cheap deal.. so i think you can book now.. ya.. Maritime is far away from Aonang beach… Krabi don’t have any beach?
U book the krabi trip through which agent? Can i have the contact? Thinking to book thru Air Asia - goholiday package, do you think is worth it?

now only i realized tht u oso from Muar. My hometown is also Muar but now staying at selangor coz my FH is from selangor…u recommend a lot of places at muar that i also never been there before.

Maritime is far from the Aonang town.. for me, i feel is quite inconvenient…better stay in those hotel in Aonang beach area. then most of the shops, beach is just within walking distance.. but I feel that there is nothing much can be done in krabi other than Island hopping, jungle tracking.. a short trip may be just nice and relax.. but like me stay for 5 days then it become a bit boring…. at the end just stay in the hotel spend my time in the pool…. and facilities..
P/s: I found that there is nothing much can buy in krabi and most of the stuff there is quite expensive compare to bangkok. And i was expecting a lot of nice thai food, but at the end i feel that western food is more popular in krabi.. even their local food it seems like a bit fusion with western food already.

“Please be informed that there is no good or bad time to go to Thailand Island area. The only weather you cant go out to the sea if that day itself was facing heavy rain or rough sea. Other than that it is okay.”
