Friday afternoon when we about to go for lunch… we pass by the shell near roundabout before we wan to turn to the left… we saw that there’s a van beside us.. so Brandon let him go first… who knows.. the direction that the van going is… straight to our car… so… Brandon did gave them notify them… told them that there’s a car beside them… but… they… eee… they didn’t care.. just hit our car… “BANG” just like that… then of course Brandon get down from the car to talk with them… where by… me… just sit in the car… then i get down and take the van’s number plate… then i get back to the car… then suddenly i remember i did bring along my DSLR so i get out of the car and take photos.
And guess what… when i just got out from the car with my DSLR then the uncle like got SHOCK… and SCARE… keep saying…
“TAKE PHOTOS? TAKE WHAT PHOTOS? NO NEED TAKE, JUST PAY US RM200 OR JUST REPORT POLICE WILL DO, NO NEED TAKE PHOTOS AT ALL…”
I was like… WTF.. i just take photos also cannot.. you scare wat lar… then… at the same time.. i heart that uncle tell Brandon…
Uncle: you see… your car hit my car… my van arr… the paint just newly painted…
Cherrie: (thinking… WTF newly painted so what oo… our car oso newly painted… newly painted then have to charge more expensive arr)
Uncle: see.. this place arr.. (he pointing at his car and said) u see… if i wan repair this hor.. will cost me at least RM700-RM800…
Cherrie: (look at their car… and smile only… so small only repair have to pay RM700-RM800… OMG)
Uncle: so how.. you wan to pay us RM200 or just report police…
Cherrie: (ask brandon come near to the car.. cause outside was too hot d… then i tell him) Bran, no need pay him lar… i don’t think we need to pay them also… not we hit them also.. just report police lor…
Uncle: war… what’s this… no need pay..
walao eh… he said.. if we don’t want pay then can report police.. both also the options that stupid uncle gave ler.. just that i choose to report police other than pay RM200 only… sigh…
This accident happen yesterday… and yes.. is really unreasonable.. this Van.. hit us… and… they want us to pay them back.. -_-” what on the worth happening? sigh see.. only like that that UNREASONABLE UNCLE & AUNTY said have to pay RM700-RM800 to fix it… war… they plan to go Merc there to fix izzit… some more… they hit us.. not we hit them ler.. -_-
This aunty is not the driver… she is the one who sit @ the passenger seat… sigh… when she came down from the car.. straight ask us pay her back… WTF~~!!! their van came and hit us and wan us to pay them? what’s this lar…
see.. the bumper came out… the van hit at the front tyre area… sigh… and from there they actually hit the bumper till the bumper came out…
the red color UNREASONABLE aunty saw me record down their car number plate.. she do the same also..
there.. can you see that FAT uncle on the left.. that is the guy who keep say… no need take photos…
the place so big.. i think the uncle before he turn… he didn’t even notice that we are beside him.. and he say we hit them? how is that possible

u see lar… the more and more ppl came d… that uncle from saying have to fix for RM700-RM800 till RM600-RM700 till RM500-RM600… what kind of human is this.. some more… the price of fixing getting lower and lower while more and more ppl coming.. and some more still can laugh while talking about it…
END UP you know what??? even RM100 also they want… sigh… and… guess what… Brandon pay them… cause…
1. he don’t wan waste his time to report police
2. don’t want argue with this kind of ppl

phew… after eating this… feel better d… phew… but.. seriously lor.. i can’t believe that there’s people out there actually hit people and claim that other people hit them… and some more want ppl to pay.. PHEW….
and seriously… that uncle serious feel scare and angry when i taking pictures with my dslr… what’s this lar.. take picture also wrong… no matter wan report police or not also must take pictures mar…. isn’t it.. take d.. can show to the police… on the other hand… i can blog about it mar… right…
UPDATE: the car is FIXED… we sent to brandon’s relative shop to fix.. they fix it within 2 hours.. and is less than RM50… (without re-paint yet lar) see… our car so big scrach oso less than RM50 … and that uncle keep saying that they need RM700-RM800 to fix that small little scartch… siao can

ya.. i did take close up picture of her face.. but… not i purposely take… but when i take pictures she keep walk here walk there.. sigh… dunno purposely wan me take pictures of her so that i can blog it or she scare me take pictures of her car… -_-

aduhh… If I kena this kindda incident downtown, and they dare to ask me for money even though they are in the wrong, I think habis lah their stupid van… I just have to make a few calls to get a few friends over and see how much the uncle wants then…
actually you should also go make police report just in case… if not they go file a police report first, then claim you langgar them, very mah-huan lor…
Sometimes it is really hard to make decision like this. Cherrie, i think they are definitely wrong. My support for you.
I would rather make police report and make them troublesome. Someone has to start doing it before this bad culture goes away. Malaysia has started a culture like this and will get worse because they got plenty of time and we dun.
i think bloggers should help spreading this story everywhere. Blogging can a strong community when they are united together talking about something constructive.
Just to share a story la…
My friend 2 days ago whose car was knocked in an accident (driven by someone he knew). The police made a big fuss and pulled them all in. And hosted them in the police station threatening to jail them 3-4 days depending on whatever they said it is. After 8 hours in the police station, they put arms on their shoulders when everyone is physically and spiritually tired.
“My boss is going to KK (a town) tomorrow, and he needs to buy something. You know what to do la..”. Each of them involved in the accident paid them some money and was released. See the same strategy? time, unreasonable and threats.
Aiks.. Poor Malaysia culture
i guess your luck is not that good that day… this happen everywhere… my only suggestion is don’t take photo noticeably next time… if this guys are crazy, they can even physically attack us… but luckily, that was aunty and uncle… don’t ever do that in penang streets…

i remember there was this one time I hit a bloody old protons saga at the back, before I can get out of the car apologize the uncle screaming, OI, like that how, like that fix at least Rm600, change bumper, this that..

siao, rm800, n look at dat auntie, lik dat also can. but after dat accident wat satisfy u was the sambal, easily cooled by by dat sambal haha.
from a different point of view, the driver might no expect that Brandon drove to his left side.. so he tot Brandon hit him instead. sometimes, ppl like them have slower reflex..hehe.. anyway, it’s so Brandon to be obliging!
there are lots of such unreasonable people wan. My friend’s car was hit by another car too recently. And the other person asked my friend to pay him.
Luckily you didnt pay that uncle RM800.

brandon shd have not paid him. go report ma!! man one time a damn uncle also hit my new car from the back! somemore laughing when i mention it was my new car. he replied wow shd buy toto. I almost hit him. End up dun wanna pay for the damage he did. so i went report. he got fine. what kinda human!! shd not pay him and make more noise then more ppl will come then they knows who mistake!

No offense, but I feel Brandon shouldn’t pay RM100 also because you already said that they’re unreasonable, so by paying them means you’re agree with them as well. If I’m in your situation, i rather report police, ask them to save their bullshit talks for themselves. Maybe they see you both are nice people and they trying to bully
