Post for: 10th April 2008
Day 4 is the day i visit the Pyramid… yeah.. this is the day… i think i gonna break this day into 3 parts.. first is the Stepped Pyramid in Sakkara.. why do i want to break them into parts? hmm.. cause only this day.. i took around 590 photos… hmm… ok.. let’s start with the Stepped Pyramid…
On the way to the Stepped Pyramid.. i get to snap this pics.. a guy sitting by the road side…
at first i still get to see those normal buildings… slowly i see trees… river…
then more sand came in to the pictures…
And finally… the Stepped Pyramid. This is the Stepped Pyramid. A stepped pyramid build for King Zuser (c. 2650 BC). Across the Great Court of the Pyramid Complex of Djoser (Zoser) 2667 – 2648 BC), the second kin of the 3rd Dynasty, stands the Step Pyramid, located at Saqqara close to modern day Cairo. take a closer look at the pyramid… lots of stone wasn’t in place… this pyramid look so much different with the others that i saw in Egypt… the shape.. even the size…
Firstly… after we get down from the bus… let’s take a jumping photo with the pyramid…
then.. wow.. what’s this… look big.. huge.. and nice.. like those we saw in Indiana Jones… nice lor
so exciting.. don’t know how inside look like… let’s go in…. and have a look
there…. is me.. haha.. no lar.. just take a pic of myself first.. ya… i wear long sleeve + a short sleeve… then one more jacket.. HOT? not really lar.. got sun lar.. just want to make sure that i’m really covered… from what? from the sun of course…. how about my face? hehe.. face i used.. lots of SUN BLOCK d… so no worries about it…

look at the buildings… i think is sooo magical… cause this building can stay here… for so long… imagine.. the architect last time is way high tech and better than current architect.. cause at least.. their technique can make the building stay longer…
hmm.. feel like go inside.. but.. scare later i forgot how to get out.. hahaha… so just walk straight… follow the team…
after some few minutes of walking.. then we reach this place…
which they sell things… lots of things… those things that we saw in khalili bazaar… and every where else.. ya… that’s why you don’t have to worry that you can’t or didn’t manage to buy the things from the previous place… cause most of the places sell the same thing…
the puppies… they look so hungry… and i think they are cute.. when i take their photos i was so scare.. i scared their owner will claim money from me.. cause our tour guide told us not to simply take photo of the camel… and so.. cause in the end they might ask some tipping for you… i mean the owner of the camel lar.. not the camel itself.. ^^ camel wont ask for money as tipping.. will ask for food or water i think.. wink~

hmm… i think this is the owner for the dog.. ya.. was really scare when i take this too.. but i stand very far to take this photo.. cause i using the ZOOM lens.. wink~
keke.. yeah.. this one i stand super far…. to take the camel pics.. i think even if they saw it.. also hard to get tipping from me.. cause i stand really too far d.. thanks to the zoom lens…
and what are they doing? they are actually fine tuning those stone… they showing us.. how they actually make the stone straight and so… for the pyramids.. i think so.. cause the tour guide talk real fast.. cant really hear.. and i stand too far

is me.. i climb up to the Pyramid… took me so long.. OMG.. so tired.. finally get up d…
phew… i went up to the pyramid.. and sit there.. nice view from there… want try? hehe.. wink~
hahaha.. no lar just kidding.. how can i climb up to the pyramid… i think i go near only the security will come after me already.. i just taking that picture somewhere near the pyramids.. wink~

After the visit of the Stepped Pyramid.. next is Lunch time….
we went to a local Restaurant…
as usual.. they have the pita bread.. and blablabla…
and soup.. the soup taste not bad oo…
and the best food today is this… the dessert… ice cream… taste so different with what we have in KL… not like normal ice cream… a bit like Baskin Robbin… imagine.. a local Restaurant.. serving Baskin Robbin type of ice cream… nice can?
and so.. that’s all for today… gonna blog more… about Pyramid.. tomorrow… ^^

Yeap, i did… the #18 photos is the photo of the camel.. ^^ and i did take some close shot too ^^ will post it up later
nah.. camels are not so important.. the pyramids are.. what’s touring Egypt if there’s no pyramids…
hehe… i think camels also important lar.. cause.. malaysia no camel to see.. unless we go Zoo Negara ^^
ya also la.. hehehe.. but if u join the safari tour in dubai or some other arab countries, u can take photos with camels for free, and as close as u want to..
of coz it’s not just camels la, the safari tour cost 120 riyals (RM1 = 1 riyal almost), u get a desert drifting ride in 4WD, buffet dinner in a model arab settlement, free camel rides, free arabian costumes to wear and take photos, free tattoo drawing, and hot belly dance. Don’t go during puasa month la, puasa month then no belly dance…
hmm… actually there’s more stories and photos about camel behind.. ^^ war… RM120 for those arr… hmm hmm… a bit expensive…
