Still remember the contest i join last year? The Save and Invest Contest hehe… i would like to thanks to those who voted me during the contest period.. cause… i actually won the contest.. unbelievable right.. few months back i actually got an email from CIMB bank saying that i won the contest… i was like.. WAT??? i won?? omg…

yeap.. that means i got the one year free 3G broadband services together with the damn cool USB MODEM.. which cost around RM300 – RM500.. not sure about the value.. cause celcom selling it at two price.. together with 2months free 3G broadband services.. hehe

Once i got it.. i went to Celcom service center at Muar (surprisingly they have that in Muar) to actually register the line.. yeah.. i have to register it.. else i wont be able to surf net.. i still need the SIM card to put in the USB modem

and.. this is the vodafone 3g broadband modem i got from CIMB bank.. isn’t that cool…

Once i got the SIM card.. i try plug it on my lappie.. and this is what i got

 
hehe.. first.. have to run the setup first.. obviously.. haha.. the setup is quite easy.. just follow the steps.. then.. tada.. is done..

once finish install. then you will be able to see this… it will show you the signal.. :p

after you click on the “Connect” button.. then it start try connect..

tada.. connected.. err. check out the speed… although they said is 3MB for the speed.. but for Muar the highest we can get is 1MB.. and when i connected.. i only get… err.. 1.42kb.. faint..

once you connected… it will show you the status…

oh.. and i found out that there’s a create SMS function.. means i can actually use this to send out SMS.. but according to the person in Celcom service center told me that.. we are not able to do that.. cause the latest package dont have that service…

hmm.. still.. i still try sending it…

hahaha.. and this is the error msg i got..

check out the message i got in the system… hahaha.. it said that i made the right choice by choosing Celcom.. hahaha

hmm.. finally.. the connection.. 1MB.. but still..

 
don’t know why i just can’t on my msn… but i can get to surf net lar.. at least… so i think still ok lar.. at least i can still online…

oh ya.. we get to see our usage so far as well and.. we able to view our bill online too.. so i try click on the View Online Bill button.. and…

it brings me to this page.. erm erm.. and i can’t get to login.. cause.. i didn’t know what’s the number of the SIM card i got –_-“

So over all how was it? i would say.. is easy to setup, install and use.. but as for the speed… i think they should improve their speed… else.. it will be quite hard.. cause MSN is just like part of my life.. if i can connect to the WEB but i can’t on my MSN.. still.. i think i will die.. hahaha..

so from now onwards i can online anytime any where.. even out of my house or office.. keke.. is really good.. especially for place like Muar.. cause.. Muar not much place have wifi connection

Thanks to CIMB, CELCOM and also Advertlets… if not i won’t be able to join this contest and win this lovely broadband modem :p

oh ya.. did i mention that this modem can actually turn into a thumb drive as well.. isn’t that cool…
