Post for: 15th September 2008

This is the Seafood Steamboat at Batu Pahat.. yeah.. one day after the Mid Autumn Festival we went Batu Pahat to had dinner.. all the way to Batu Pahat.. phew… This is the first time I eat here.. hmm.. Brandon keep telling me that the steamboat here very nice.. hmm.. so let’s see…

as usual they have a big “bowl” for us to put all the food in there…

one thing different is how they serve the food… all food is separated.. not like those in KL.. they just put all in one big plate… only those we ordered differently they will put in different plate..

this is the pork meat ball that i will never miss… yum yum… no matter which steamboat restaurant i go.. sure order this…

the mushroom…
Remark: with the soup that they serve.. is not so nice… cause… this mushroom is a bit tasteless… is better to eat together with Tom Yam soup

the “xiu mai” surprisingly.. this taste nice…
Remark: at first when i see this xiu mai.. i feel weird.. cause this suppose to appear only in DIM SUM.. but it appear in this steamboat restaurant.. hmm.. but the end result is really not bad

the fish.. is actually one they just cut it into two.. hmm.. this is one of the food that brandon like most from this restaurant.. but fr me.. i think.. so so only… not a big fan of this fish..

the prawn… is big… bigger than what we normally see in KL.. but i didn’t eat it.. hehe.. abit lazy…

the mini egg.. hehe.. didn’t eat this as well..

err.. i prefer those fried bean curd.. this one taste a bit weird.. too soft.. -_-”

woot.. finally the soup is ready.. let’s put all the things in there…

check out the plates behind.. hmm hmm…

the honey lemon.. taste not bad.. i ordered HOT one.. cause.. pregnant mar.. better don’t drink cold drinks during pregnancy.. not good for baby

check out all the food they serve us.. i wonder how much it cost for all this.. hmm.. should be quite cheap right…

boiling boiling…

check out the Restaurant… see..so many people in the Restaurant…

we can adjust the temperature we want to boil the food ^^ so convenient.. fast, and easy to use

Restaurant Shabu-Shabu

chinese, japanese, steamboat | 3,446 views 5 Pilipalas »

Address:
No. 19, Jalan Puteri 1/6, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
Tel:
03-80605221 (please call for booking else you have to wait for quite long oooo ~~)
Business Hours:
Open Daily
5:00pm – 11:30pm* (last call 10:30pm)
Charges:
RM 25 for Shabu-shabu buffet

The is the 2nd time I visit this Restaurant… still remember the first time i went there i was sitting at the end of this table.. together with my aunt, uncle and parents… ^^ quite like this place, cause they have variety of food to choose.. oh ya… This is a steamboat (shabu-shabu) restaurant which they have two type of serving… first type is buffet style which is located at 2nd floor and second type will be the ala-cart type which is located at the 1st floor of the restaurant… both time i visit this restaurant i choose to go for the buffet style… cause i think is more worth it if you are hungry lar… ^^

Ok… first, before you go to the restaurant is recommended to make a phone call to the restaurant to book places… of course you have to tell them the time you will be reaching… then just tell them which type of shabu shabu you would like to have… if you choose to go for buffet style.. they will pass you the coupon once you pay… is RM 25 per person… i’m not sure is there a children price :p

they have lots of place for you to sit.. can you see the kaiten belt right in front the seat? there’s where they serve the food.. you can just take any food you like.. is buffet mar… so just take… but of course must finish it.. else wasted…

so many food flow from left to right… right to left.. phew.. which to choose?

war.. sui kao… anyone wan some?

here’s the pot… ya.. each person will have their own pot…  you can cook your own soup in your own style

phew… so many things… yum yum… see first i put the prawn in the soup first…

war war.. mushroom pot.. hahaha

the pork meat….

war war.. can see the pot.. from clear soup to spicy kimchi soup.. kakakaka

here’s another plate of pork meat… look more fresh than the previous one.. kekeke

check out the plates that we ate.. actually this is just partial of the plate.. cause the stuff keep tidy the table for us.. but the weird thing is they will only keep those white plate.. and left the orange and red plate on the table..

we actually ask them why they do that… and guess what they said.. they said.. this is for them to do some record… i think is because those are the special food..  like prawn and baby octopus.. they just wan to do some survey on what normally people will take… ^^

that’s all… every time after I finish dinner here.. sure i feel super full.. phew… I’m thinking… when will be the next time i visit again… cause till now when i see the photos of the shabu-shabu also feel very full phew…

Yes is steamboat again.. did you heard of Soya Bean Steamboat? had you ever try? i tried this last month… hmm… how it taste like??? seriously i think so so only…. in fact.. i don’t really enjoy the steamboat with the Soya Bean Soup.. i think the “Ma Lat” (Spicy) soup taste lot better… hmmm… the Soya Bean soup.. is so not soya than what i thought earlier… is very… errr… like not enough taste like that.. hmmmm

this is the Shop… hmm… sorry arr.. i simply take.. so end up like this.. hahaha.. cause was quite in a rush… looking for better seat mar.. hahaha… This shop is located near the YUEN Steamboat… (opposite road of Sunway Pyramid)

People said that Yuen Steamboat’s Chicken Wings is famous.. and superb… then you have to try this… this is best… taste a lot better than Yuen Steamboat

they serve crab here too….

we ordered two soups… on the left is the soya bean soup.. and on the right.. is the ma lat soup

see the mushroom i took… i’m the mushroom lover ok…

hmm.. there’s lots of thing to take.. ya is buffet style like Yuen Steamboat… and is RM19++ here….

hmm.. ok.. finally the soup is cooked.. now can put all the food in there…

the fish ball gang.. seriously… the fish ball.. so so only.. so don’t waste time and dont waste your stomach space for this…. is better for you to hunt something else… like scallop…. prawns…. and crab

hmm hmm.. the spicy soup look yummy ok.. and is real spicy…

finally can eat now…

they have one special fishy ball there.. which is the fish ball which have otak otak in there.. just look special… taste so so… hahaha.. you can try it out if you wan.. hahahaha

after all the food eating… hmm.. on the way back to the car… we saw another seafood which is just right beside this shop…. omg… the smell… i tell you… is sooooo spicy… if i’m not mistaken.. the shop name is scalled “Chong Qing” (重庆) Steamboat.. hmm.. not sure is it buffet style.. but i think i will go there to try it out :p hehehehe… cause the smell really hmm.. yummy…. smell more yummy than this Tasty Pot Restaurant
