Check out the first baby hamper I got… hehe

this is the first hamper baby got from her grandmother.. hahaha.. yeah.. baby.. this is the first present that your grandmother (my mummy) bought for you. but is quite funny… cause… most of the things in there are in BLUE color… why is it in BLUE color? hmm.. cause… grandmother keep thinking that you are a boy… hahaha.. so funny..

Grandma:”can you help me pack all that in a hamper?”
Sales Girl:”Is a boy or girl?”
Grandma:”a boy”
(omg, grandmother answer directly without any queries)
Sales Girl:”OK”

OMG… till Grandmother went back home only notice that the whole hamper is in BLUE color.. haha.. and.. was quite surprise… hahaha…

No matter what… baby must say Thank You to grandmother o…

So fast… around 1 month 1 Week left till my delivery date.. as what the doctor said… is hard to say when will i deliver.. hmm.. only baby will know.. hmm… so now… i think i better get everything READY ready… hmm… here’s a mini check list i got from the net…

For mother:

• Lip balm for dry, chapped lips
• Warm socks
• Hand lotion
• All my skin care product
• Lollipops or hard candy - err. candy is for what arr?
• Cell phone or phone card and phone numbers
• Cell phone charger
• Toothbrush, toothpaste and other toiletries
• Camera
• Camera charger
• CD player iPod
• iPod Charger
• Nursing bra
• Nightgown (with button front if you are breastfeeding) err.. i don’t have any nightgown with button front ler.. how?
• Bathrobe and slippers
• Address book and stationary - this is for what arr?
• Loose-fitting outfit to wear home
• Sarong
• Sanitary pads

For baby:

• One undershirt (or “onesie”)
• One outer garment
• One receiving blanket
• One outer blanket
• Baby Diapers
• Baby milk bottle
• A hat and pair of booties - i think a pair is not enough… i bring more than 3 pairs hahaha… same as the cloths and pants as well
• If using cloth diapers, bring two diapers and velcro diaper covers
• Car seat for baby’s ride home. This is required by California state law and many hospitals will check that you have a car seat before releasing mother and baby. hmm.. i think we don’t need this.. cause i think sure will have lots of people willing to hug hug baby…

Yeah.. today went for checkups again… both government (Muar) and private (Malacca)… Jen said she feel that i keep go checkups.. hehe.. actually i feel that too.. actually not that i go for checkups very often.. just that.. the time pass real fast… that’s why make us feel that we go checkups very often.. hahaha.. what theory is that.. Siao Siao (crazy) theory by Cherrie.. hahah

so how’s today checkup? hmm.. everything went smoothly… first of all.. I wake up at 7am in the morning (actually around 5am i already wake up, i feel that my body alarm a bit weird these few days.. but of course i did sleep back after that and wake up again around 6:58am.. hahaha)  then.. we went to Government clinic for the normal checkup.. hmmm… today there’s quite a lot of people in the clinic.. but we didn’t really wait for too long… around 9am we finish all the checkup in government clinic… the nurse keep just “press” my tummy.. to make sure that my baby is right in the middle… and she used the measure tape to measure my tummy… and did some records on the “RED BOOK” hmm… as what she wrote in the “RED BOOK” I’m now 58.5kg.. OMG… this is the first time i see my weight start with a “5″ never see that in my life before… after she measure my tummy.. she keep telling me.. the importance of breast feeding… she keep said.. is very important and very good for the baby.. actually this is not the first time she said that.. hahaha… and she told me that.. is good.. cause.. will give those antibody to the baby… and… contain DHA, omega 3, blablabla.. hmm.. a lot… then she just ask me to go back for another check up in two weeks time.. hmm

baby.. i wish i will get back to my original weight after give birth yo… else.. i’m not sure how will i be.. hahaha..

after that.. we prepare ourself to go for our next destination.. Malacca.. for another checkup.. yeah.. we keep doing checkup on both side.. cause they said is needed… hmm.. so we just follow.. -_-” we went to the Hospital.. OMG.. this is the first time i reach the private hospital so early.. before lunch time.. and.. surprisingly.. i see lots of people there… queueing for registration.. even at the ob-gyn as well.. phew.. we waited almost 30 mins.. finally my turn.. hehe.. ya.. as what i mention in my prebious post… i said that i keep forgot what to ask doctor.. hehe.. this time.. i wrote it down on a paper… so.. i ask the doctor one by one.. 

1. err.. how come my baby will keep kick me… in regular basis?
Doctor answer: that’s not your baby’s movement nor kick.. is actually your heartbeat… (and he explain to Brandon and I… how actually it works)

2. I heard people said that… after give birth.. if mummy plan to breast feeding… then mummy are not suppose to drink alcohol right… (but according to chinese traditional they drinks a lot.. how arr?)
Doctor answer: actually.. don’t drink alcohol… or maybe minimal alcohol is ok… and please remember don’t eat too much ginger as well.. is bad for you.. and is bad for baby as well..

after that.. Doctor explain to me.. how will I feel when I about to deliver.. he said that.. no one can confirm when will you deliver.. only baby will know.. (OMG baby… can you tell mummy when are you coming out? want me point at the calendar and you kick me to tell me which date?)

and.. according to doctor… the pain.. is 10 times pain than how you feel while you having food poisoning… i was like.. ok… then i tell brandon… if you see my face turns green… that means i gonna deliver d.. -_-”

doctor said that.. if i scare of pain.. then i can take a special injection before delivery… which i won’t feel any pain while deliver.. but they will use a “vacumm” to “suck” baby out.. i was like.. errr… then will baby feel pain?? hmm.. actually i think.. i will rather i pain than baby pain.. -_-” according to the doctor.. he said that the injection won’t cause any side effects… so.. is safe to take… hmm… and.. after you take that injection… you can actually still joke, talk and laugh while delivery.. i was like.. “har -_-” and he said.. is actually depend on you… if you scare of pain.. then that’s is the option you can take.. else.. just normal… ^^

after all the checkups… Doctor said… hmm.. ok.. everything seems normal… actually you suppose to come here check up every week start from next week.. but since baby and you looks normal.. so… is ok.. I will see you in three weeks time ok..

after that we went to MMU to check out some MBA course details… for who? for me? no lar.. i’m not young anymore.. phew… don’t think can go study… (although i feel like continue my study) hmm… is for Kelvin.. hehe.. after that only we travel back to Muar again.. phew… till the next checkup… which will be….

Oh ya.. doctor said that.. there’s 3 symtoms that i have to keep an eye on it… If i get to see either one of this happen.. means is time for me to deliver… and.. he said that i no need to rush… still got plenty of time for me to prepare.. and said that i no need to ask for helicopter.. hahaha.. can just drive safely to malacca

2. Tummy feel pain
3. “Placenta Fuild” hahahah

1st January 2009 (government clinic) and 8th January 2009 (private hospital) hmm.. both also next year… so.. see them next year.. tata…

I had a dream last night… phew..  what kind of dream? I dream that.. suddenly Baby want to come out.. and.. the worse thing is.. I didn’t manage to go Malacca on time.. so have to deliver on the spot… the place that i’m at in the dream look like KL.. but i’m not sure about that.. suddenly.. Dr. Khoo (doctor from Malacca) appeared… when I try to get ready.. suddenly i saw a baby sleeping beside me.. then i ask… who’s that baby? then they told me.. “is your baby”.. i was like.. “arr… how come i didn’t know?? i still preparing to give birth only wor… -_-”

Baby… the whole dream is soooo funny.. this is not the first time mummy dream of you… hahaha.. but i think this is the most funny dream i had… really miss you…

wondering when will you “come out”…
wondering how will i feel when you about to “come out”…
wondering will i feel pain when you about to “come out”…
wondering will I get to go Malacca hospital on time…

wish that you will be very healthy.. i know sure you will be very active.. cause even now.. you are in my tummy.. you keep kick mummy… day and night.. haha.. can’t wait till you “come out” hehehe…

oh ya.. your friend.. Honey Ooi… she just born today.. hehe.. ya.. she’s aunty Jen’s niece… hehe.. she’s cute.. chubby.. and healthy… hehe.. soon you will be able to see her.. soon soon…

一场梦。。昨晚妈妈梦见你了。。对又梦见你。。 可是妈妈觉得这次的梦超好笑的。。因为在梦里。。我突然要“生”了。。。对。。。你等不及了。。赶着要出世了。。爸爸来不及载妈妈到马六甲医院。。。所以只好就地解决。。突然。。Dr. Khoo出现在我们眼前。。。说他会帮我接生。。。多好啊。。奇怪的是Dr. Khoo怎么知道我在那里呢。。奇怪。。。更奇怪的是。。。当妈妈正准备要生你时。。突然看见。。旁边睡着一个小宝宝。。我还有时间问。。。“究竟是谁的宝宝阿？”结果大家告诉我，他是你刚生的宝宝啊。。我觉得莫名其妙。。因为我在完全不知情的情况下把你生下来了。。。这次我把你看清楚一些了。。比起以前梦里的你更清晰。。真的很想快些可以抱抱你。。把你拥在我的怀里。。

Last night is the 2nd time i feel my leg cramp at night.. phew.. not that very painful, just that feel weird while sleeping halfway then suddenly leg can’t really move.. -_-” and guess what i did? i shouted.. haha..

Once i feel that my leg cramp in the middle of my dream (i wonder how i can feel that in my dream -_-) then i wake up.. and shouted Brandon…

“Dear dear, my leg… my leg.. cramp..”

Then straight he wake up and help me push my leg.. phew.. then I feel better.. way better… I wonder.. if he’s not there with me.. how am I suppose to overcome this clamp thingy at night.. phew…

Pregnant for quite some times d… this is the 2nd time I really feel that my leg cramp at night… now I know how it feels… feels pain… feels can’t do anything…  hmm I wonder is there any other way to prevent leg cramp at night…

and wondering… Is this a sign? Is this a sign that baby gonna come out soon? hmm… waiting waiting.. still waiting for the other sign.. the sign of baby coming out… haih.. until then… my next checkup gonna be at 18th December 2008.. I think that’s when i can ask all the questions in my head now…

1. how come my leg will cramp at night?
2. how will I feel if the baby is coming out?
3. how heavy is the baby already?
4. can estimate roughly when baby will come out?

keep thinking of all the questions that i have to ask the doctor.. cause… everytime.. while I doing checkup.. sure i will forgot one or two of the questions.. hahahha

我的脚终于抽筋了。。。怎么说终于呢？？因为至从我怀孕以来。。。大家都不停的告诉我。。。怀孕期间会常有脚抽筋的现象。。我看我该庆幸。。直到现在才有抽筋现象吧。。。

我是怎么发现的呢？？其实这两次的抽筋现象都是我在睡梦中时发现的。。而这两次把我从痛楚当中救出的都是我老公。。真的有些可怜他。。因为总是被我从睡梦中吵醒。。。哈哈哈。。。

只要我大声地叫“Dear, dear… 我的脚。。 抽筋。。。“ 他就会直接的”弹起来“ 哈哈哈。。。 真的是”弹起来“哦。。不是开玩笑的。。然后帮我的脚揉一揉。。推一推。。就这样。。就没抽了。。。

其实我真的蛮好奇。。心里有几个问题。。但我看要到下回的检查才可以问问医生了。。。

1。 脚怎么会在晚上抽筋呢？？是小宝宝要出来的预兆吗？
2。 如果宝宝真的要出来了。。我会有什么预兆的吗？羊胎水破了又是怎么一回事呢？ （因这些我都是从电视剧里可以常看见的。。但却不知是怎么样的。。）
3。 宝宝有多重了？
4。是否可以大概预测宝宝及是会“出来” 呢？

哎。。种种的问题不断出现在我脑海里。。。

Current Mood: Alarmed & Surprised

Today went for my first checkup at the government hospital… wait a minute… is that considered a hospital? i don’t think so.. i think is something call Kesihatan blablabla.. forgot what is it called d.. but is actually one of the Goverment Department which offer the same services as the Hospital…

Baby, do you know why we go there for checkup? cause we need to prepare for you… to get a record at the hospital.. so that if anything happen… we will still have government to “cover” us up… 

Surprisingly.. all of the stuff there are superb friendly… they treat me very good and very caring… at first when we reach there.. Daddy and I went to the Registration area to register ourself… the nurse ask daddy and I to get into the registration area… and I was thinking.. “OMG… don’t tell me that thye wan me to fill in the form myself..” next… the nurse just pull a chair for me to sit.. and started ask me questions… and she fill in the form for me.. hehehe.. i tot she going to ask me to fill in all the forms.. hahaha.. then we show her our Blood Report (the one that we did at pathlab). Then she told us what are the things that we need to do next and blablabla… she even ask us where we stay.. which road and all.. surprisingly.. i know the road more than Brandon.. -_-” cause Brandon didn’t know that near his house got a lorong called lorong Ahmad.. hahahaha after staying there for so many years he still didn’t know there’s a lorong there called lorong Ahmad.. OMG…

Then we move forward to the next stage… weight and blood pressure checking.. at the 2nd level of the building.. all the nurse there was sooo friendly… they help me check my blood pressure.. she said that my blood pressure was normal.. then ask me to proceed to the next room… (i realize that my malay was real bad.. cause i can’t really understand most of the things they said.. and when i about to answer them.. i feel like… speechless.. don’t know say wat..)

Then the next stage.. is the basic body checkup.. the nurse ask me to lie down at the bed.. then she started ask all the questions and do all the checking.. and keep input some important teory to me.. and tell me what is good for me to do for baby… after all the checking.. then next… is time for injection… phew.. today she gonna help us inject the immune for Tetanus… and will get some blood for HIV test.. -_-” phew.. so end up.. both of my hand got injected -_-”

The worse thing is after the injection.. my left hand.. the one which got injected the Tetanus immune… superb tired.. and i feel tiring.. and feel like sleeping.. (or maybe is just that i feel lazy.. phew…) but seriously.. is quite pain… arr… can’t imagine how many times i need to be injected with those thing.. i know is good for baby.. but still.. painful.. and tiring…

And actually i feel pain for baby too.. cause in future.. after baby born… she also need to be inject with a few injections… phew… sure my heart pain while she cry… hmm… pain for her… at least now she don’t need to get those pain yet… else..
