Yeap… finally yesterday i got the package from PotatoCream hehehe…yeah.. still remember? the RM 1 Deal that they offer me… yeah.. finally i got them already… all the way from the other side of Malaysia… thanks Fiona and Gary…want to take a look at what i got?

this is what i saw on my table when i reach office in the morning…

after i open the package.. i saw the bag… the RM 1 bag.. haha… overall the bag is ok… is big enough for me to keep all my things… but there’s one part that i don’t really like which is the handle part… hmm

this is what i don’t really happy about the bag… was really surprise when i saw this… ya.. you can clearly see the white cloth in the handle… so weird.. this is the first time i saw this kind of handle… ^^…

and inside the bag i saw a box… so cute… i think Fiona purposely bought it for me… she said.. all these are purposely gave me as a wedding gift… so nice of her… ^^ but… seriously… the postman should handle it with care… as you can see the box is a bit out of shape.. but i think is ok… hehe.. still can be use.. and is real cute….

wan to take a look at those cloths? hehe… wait… ok… i will wear it during chinese new year as one of my chinese new year collection… and will post up what i wear and do everyday on my site…

b. Potato Cream name - so cute and adorable - best in Singapore and JB, sometimes KL also.. Cheh..
c. Our website is also very cute and friendly. I personally like it. Pink layout is quite smooth and attractive to buyers, not really viewers or critics. Some people told me to change the layout, some hinted me to do so, while others insisted for our website to stay pink. Too many comments already, i need to stand for my decision and stay pink. (My wife, sis, and Fiona like pink very much too by the way, hehe, what else should i say?).

How do I know if the cloth fit me or not.. since this is an online shopping website?
Ya, this is very important. We all want to know the size and the specific measurement before we know whether it fits us. True, true, true… But sometimes we also received many orders from clients who are not interested in the sizes and measurements too. Dunno why and how - But it works.

Maybe they trust Potato Cream lu (Quoted from : Cherrie - she always talk in this manner). Haha..

Fiona : Serious bah. Actually hor, sizes are all stated at the website. Eg, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, Free (means between S and M). A few of the clothes are even provided with specific measurements. Well, nothing is perfectly identical.

Back to Gary : Ya, we cant guarantee 100% identical due to many reasons. Some monitors are brighter ma, while others are dimmer. Hard to tell you which monitor has the right colors or brightness wo.. So i suggest you try to buy 1 or 2 items from us first. Try out our services first. If our services are good and our material is good, buy more, and then more and then even more, and then you know la…

If the material is totally unsatisfactory, we will change it for you according to our terms and conditions. So dun worry so much. Be happy and keep steady. Come and think about it, this is the reason why we can sell the clothes cheaper than the shops to you. Less cost (no shop + no cash on delivery), Less admin works (means less staff + less payroll + less time spent on testing this and that). Finally i got the answer from Gary d…. from my previous post… lots of people very curious about RM1 for 1 piece of nice cloth… hmm… will tell you all more about it later….

How did you come out of an idea to start with PotatoCream.com?
I have a commercial partner, Fiona. She is very active with online shopping. Well, as she always said, “i love shopping ma. Lazy people shop online lu.” Out of point, opps. By the way, she suggested we sell clothes online de. I told her that i am also interested and i can contribute my intellectual properties (web development la). Without thinking further, we started a website after 2 weeks.

While developing the website, it takes us a very long time to brainstorm for a domain name that we both like. Fiona suggested Potato as she really loves potatoes (funny girl). But Potato-Something-something, or something-something-potato are all taken, until.. i thought of Cream. PotatoCream.com. Kewl!! So, that’s it. Potato Cream. Hahaha.. A proud brand name is born.

At first, the website is only a normal website with photos and detail of each stocks (a few stocks only). Then, our business started growing day after day. We did not even do any marketing to the website until the 2nd week. Then, it takes off from there and started growing rapidly. As more customers come to our website, we develop more features one by one - making the site more usable - Eg, order form la, newsletter la, categories la, currency la, etc. Haha..

As what I know previously you was managing 7Creation.com¡K how was it right not? Is it doing well?
Yes, 7Creation.com was previously developed and managed by myself. What about now? It is still managed by myself ar.. 7Creation is my baby, and it will always be. I am still taking care of it.
It is growing each day without even much maintenance provided to it. I really feel sorry for 7Creation, as i have done only very little enhancement over this one year. I hope i can devote more time for it

I planned to organize something for 7Creation next year and making it an annual event for international participants. Frankly, i have already found a sponsor and an experienced designer to be our panel of judge of our following competition. Stay tuned, i will spam you with our news. Hahaha.. Anyway, be proud of 7Creation - it is the first online graphic design international competition hosted by Malaysian from Labuan island ler.

Overall, i met many friends. Good ones too. Cherrie, you might have already forgotten, we actually met at 7Creation.com. You contacted me and asked me a few questions probably looking for ideas for your blogs. The friendship started from then. LOL. (Actually i still didnt know why you contacted me last time - probably for advertisement at your side, haha..)

Will it be very hard for you to maintain two websites at the same times?
Yes, very hard. Honestly, i have lost my concentration over 7Creation because of PotatoCream.com. And focus has been diverted away. I believe there is a season and time for everything. I will divert my focus back to 7Creation later on. It all depends on a factor called time.

Maintaining a website is not easy, especially if you have plans for its healthy growth. AprilCherrie knows this very well too. Haha.. We sometimes chatted about our websites a bit. Sincerely, she is doing very well. Before that, i have a friend who is even a fan of AprilCherrie.com. Haha.. Quite a coincidence. Pretty cool huh (i didnt tell Cherrie about this yet)

Today I had a discussion with one of the owner of Potatocream.com thru msn… and this is what happened… (Actually I know him since long long time ago… I actually forgot when already… )

Gary actually offered me a deal which I think is quite cool… hehehe.. with RM 1 can order 1 pieces of cloths from PotatoCream.com…. but i think.. 3 is kind of unbalance.. cause i was thinking of wanna order from those ready stock and Pre-order… so i ask him… “4 pieces can arr? hahaha..” (i was just trying my luck…) end up.. he said.. “ya sure…” (aiya… i should have request for more.. sigh -_- hahahah)

so end up with RM4 I can order 4 pieces of clothes from his website… after a short discussion… I decided to take 2 from the ready stock and 2 from Pre-order.. to test out… how long it will take for both type of order.

Actually there are a few questions that I really wish to ask him….

13. I realize there’s not much choices of size for most of the dresses… did you do that on purpose? I mean… err.. why there’s no S? I actually saw XXXL…
